使用防震腳的優點有:
（1） 降低噪音產生,阻隔噪音對人體結構的傷害
（2） 防止機械振動導致結構的疲勞

無安裝防震腳的缺點有:
（1） 直置地面會產生強烈振動及反作用力導致元件受損
（2）無防震墊之墊品如置板木材在損害生鏽後機器失去維持水平功能。
